研究生学院简介
    新疆医科大学创建于1956年,是一所以高等医学教育为主的区属重点大学。我校研究生教育自1978年开始招收研究生以来,研究生教育管理大致经历了三个发展阶段。1980年在科研处内设立研究生科,配备了专职人员,从此研究生教育开始了规范化教育阶段。 1998年9月随着新疆医学院与新疆中医学院合并组建新疆医科大学及全国“积极发展”研究生教育战略的实施,成立了研究生处。2005年为了加速研究生教育发展,以综合性医科大学内涵建设要求,成立了研究生学院。历经28年的不断建设,我校的学位与研究生教育经历了从无到有、从小到大的发展过程,学位与研究生教育在培养规模、培养层次、培养类型上都得到了迅速发展,已经形成了多学科、多层次、多渠道的研究生教育体系;形成了多门类、多类型、多级别的学位授予制度。
     目前拥有4个博士学位授权点,是全疆唯一的专业学位(临床医学)博士研究生培养单位,是全疆唯一的同等学力在职申请博士学位授予权单位;拥有5个一级学科硕士学位授权点(覆盖37个二级学科),11个二级学科硕士学位授权点,5个专业学位授予权(临床医学硕士、口腔医学硕士、公共卫生硕士、同等学力在职申请硕士学位、高校教师在职攻读硕士学位);拥有3个博士后流动站(临床医学、公共卫生与预防医学、药学), 5个自治区级重点学科(内科学、外科学、劳动卫生与环境卫生学、生物化学与分子生物学、药理学),10个校级重点学科(影像医学、卫生毒理学、肿瘤学、病理生理学、口腔医学、中西医结合学、生药学、药剂学、社会医学与卫生事业管理学、护理学),1个教育部省部共建重点实验室(新疆维吾尔族高发疾病研究实验室),2个自治区级重点实验室(分子生物学实验室、包虫病实验室)。截止目前拥有博士研究生导师63名,硕士生导师425名,在校研究生2000余人,其中博士研究生约150 人,硕士研究生约1733 人。
     学院一直把人才培养质量视为学位与研究生教育的生命线,注重全面提高研究生综合素质和创新能力的培养,加大改革力度,勇于开拓创新,在招生、培养、管理和学位授予方面采取了一系列措施,取得了比较明显的成效。研究生学院发挥了统一领导与管理全校学位与研究生教育工作的职能作用,强化了管理机构和管理干部队伍的建设,加强了导师队伍建设,不断壮大培养基地,改革招生办法、培养方式及学位授权审核办法,已初步建立起考核筛选制度和质量监控体系。重视研究生德育思想政治教育工作,不断加强对研究生德育和思想政治教育,充分发挥研究生自我教育、自我管理、自我服务的作用,狠抓校纪校风,注重校园文化和学生社团建设,开展丰富多彩、喜闻乐见的政治、学术、科技、文体、社会实践等活动,深受广大研究生的欢迎,促进了研究生德育和思想政治觉悟的提高。
     今后,研究生学院将在进一步扩大办学规模的基础上,努力加强学科建设,优化结构,深化教育改革,提高培养质量,提升学校的办学层次,为实现把学校建设成为高水平的教学研究型医科大学的目标而努力奋斗。
    
Brief Introduction of Postgraduate College Of Xinjiang Medical University

    Xinjiang Medical University is one of the key universities in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which was founded in 1956. Postgraduate education and management of Xinjiang Medical University has gone through 3 stages of development since began to recruit students in 1978. In 1980, Postgraduate Department was set up as a subdivision of Science and Technology Department and provided with full-time personnel. Postgraduate education has been improved and standardized since then. Postgraduate Department as an independent department was founded in September, 1998 in the condition of implementing strategies of developing postgraduate education after the former Xinjiang Medical College and the former Xinjiang Traditional Chinese Medicine College merged and formed the Xinjiang Medical University. In order to accelerate the development of postgraduate education and meet the requirements of establish a comprehensive university, Postgraduate College was founded in 2005. Postgraduate education of Xinjiang Medical University, which had nothing to start with, expanded from a small to a large scale in the past 28 years. Degrees and Postgraduate Education have developed rapidly on the scale of training, the level of the training and the type of the training. It has formed a Multi-subject, Multi-level and multi-method accreditation system of postgraduate education.
    There are 4 doctoral degree programs in postgraduate college. It is also the only college which can award equal education doctorate degree in clinical medicine In Xinjiang. There are 5 first class disciplines master’s degree awarding points (covers 37, 2nd class disciplines), 11, 2nd class disciplines master’s degree awarding points,5 professional disciplines master’s degree awarding points(master’s degree of clinical medicine,master’s degree of stomatology,master’s degree of public health、master's degree with the same educational level, college Teachers' In-service Study for Master's Degree, There are three mobile postdoctoral centers (Clinical medicine, pharmacy, public health and preventive medicine) and 5 key subjects at the regional level (internal medicine, surgery, labor and environmental hygiene, biochemistry and molecular biology, pharmacology). There are also 10 key subject at the college level (medical imaging,toxicology hygiene ,oncology,patho-physiology, stomatology,integration of Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics, social medicine and Public health service administration and nursing). There are 1 key laboratory supported by provincial government and Education Ministry and 2 key laboratories in the fields of molecular biology and Echinococcosis. There are 63 supervisors for the doctorate students and 425 supervisors for master students. The populations of postgraduate on campus are over 2,000. Among them 150 are PhD students, and 1,733 are Master’s Degree students.
    Our college attaches great importance to the students’ quality fostering in the process of post-graduate education, with an equal emphasis on enhancing the students’ well-rounded development and creativity. Furthermore, greater efforts have been made to adopt a series of effective measures regarding enrollment, fostering, administration and diploma-granting. Graduate school centrally controls and supervises the diploma granting system and the post-graduate education of the university. With an improved administrative structure and a reinforced faculty team, our college has been expanded considerably. Other measures taken are updating admission standard and a renewal of our educational approaches and the diploma-granting system. An evaluation & eliminating system alone with a quality control system have yielded some fresh and notable results. Our college laid much stress on the cultivation of students’ moral standard, at the same time, allowing full play to the students’ self-education, self-management and self-governance. And also much energy has been place on the building-up of the school regulations to ensure on-campus order. Students are lucky enough to participate various on-campus activities, which are well received by the students.
    An up-scaled and top-leveled postgraduate college is expected, which is based upon scientific course design, a sound administrative structure, and further reform with respect to education in view of a quality postgraduate college. A bold strive is waiting for us to take to make Xinjiang Medical University a teaching and research- oriented academy.
